I have had many opportunities to visit the Universidad de Chile to conduct research under the auspices of the Complex Engineering Systems Institute (ISCI). I am very thankful for the opportunity to interact with a high-quality research center that addresses critical sectors such as energy, transportation and mining. I believe that it is a very good idea to involve researchers from di erent departments and universities.
