RESUMEN

Se cita una nueva maleza perenne para Chile, Artemisia verlotorum Lamotte (Asteraceae), cuya área de distribución actual es la provincia de Curicó (VII Región). Se entrega además una descripción e ilustración, y se mencionan observaciones con respecto a su comportamiento agronómico.

SUMMARY

A new perennial weed (Artemisia verlotorum Lam.), whose actual distribution area is the province of Curicó (Region VII), is reported for Chile. Moreover, this species is decribed and illustrated and some of its agronomic characteristics are discussed.
