EFECTO DEL ACEITE MINERAL Y DICOFOL SOBRE FALSA ARAÑITA DE LA VID EN VID VINÍFERA cv. CABERNET SAUVIGNON

EFFECTS OF MINERAL OIL AND DICOFOL ON THE FALSE GRAPE MITE ON GRAPES CV. CABERNET SAUVIGNON

RESUMEN

Se estudió el efecto del aceite mineral (Sunspray Ultrafine) al 0,5; 1,0; 2,0 y 3,0% y dicofol (Acarin 50 WP) al 0,25%, aplicado en : postcosecha; yema algodonosa, brotes de 5-7 cm, sobre la Falsa arañita de la vid Brevipalpus chilensis Baker en dos viñedos comerciales fuertemente infestados cv. Cabernet Sauvignon, ubicados en Malloco (Región Metro-politana) y Nancagua (VI Región).

Se evaluó en post-cosecha, previo a la aplicación y 10 días después de la última aplicación en primavera.

Se concluyó que aplicaciones de aceite mineral al 2 y 3% controlaron eficazmente las poblaciones de este ácaro fitó-fago en cualquiera de las épocas estudiadas y sus efectos fueron similares a dicofol (Acarin 25 WP) 0,25%. Aceite mineral 0,5% no ejerció control de la plaga bajo las condiciones estudiadas.

SUMMARY

The effects of mineral oil (Sunspray Ultrafine) at 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0% and dicofol (Acarin 25 WP) at 0.25%, sprayed at post-harvest, bud swelling, 5-7 cm shoots, postharvest-bud swelling, postharvest-5-7 cm shoots and bud swelling- 5-7 cm shoots, on Brevipalpus chilensis Baker (Acari:Tenuipalpidae) on two infested commercial vineyards cv. Cabernet Sauvignon , located in Malloco (Metropolitan Region) and Nancagua (Sixth Region of Chile), were studied.

Mites were counted at postharvest prior to application and in spring ten days after the last application.

Mineral oil sprayed at 2.0 and 3.0% in anytime gave an adequate control of the mites, with effect similar to dicofol at 0.25%. Mineral oil at 0.5% did not control the pest under the conditions of the study.
