INFLUENCIA DE LA LUZ EN LA ESPORULACIÓN DE PARTÍCULAS DE MICELIO SECO DE Trichoderma sp. INFLUENCE OF LIGHT IN PARTICLE SPORULATION OF DRY Trichoderma sp. MYCELIUM. SUMMARY The objective of this work was to evaluate light influence in the sporulation of particles of dry mycelium of Trichoderma sp. of different sizes. The biomass of this isolate was obtained by liquid fermentation technology, air dried, ground and sifted to obtain particles of two sizes (0.84 and 0.18 mm). The particles were incubated on an water-agar medium and exposed to a 12 hour light interval and to total darkness. With the 12 hour light interval both sizes of particles behaved in a similar manner, producing 9.5 x 108 spores/0.006 g dry mycelium at 30 days after incubation. In darkness, the 0.84 mm particles produced double the spores than the 0.18 mm particles and sporulation was not observed within the first 24 hours in the particles of the two sizes evaluated. From the results obtained, it can be inferred that the 0,84 mm particles would be more suitable to be incorporated into the soil in order to control the soilborne pathogens, whereas the smaller ones could be employed in the aerial portion of the plant.
